i was asked to contribute to issue 10 of faesthetic magazine.
working with the theme of 'scams & deceit', i constructed a collage based upon the principles of egyptian ethics and good nature. the couple are being judged before anubis (and exhibited on a wall space), to determine their passages into the afterlife. the cheating husband has been 'denied', while his wife has been approved.
the collage is based on the two immaculately preserved limestone statues of rahotep & his wife nofret.
